Harmony Vet
Assisting Program
All pets go home the same day. Pets do not need to return for suture removal. Dissoluble suture is used.

All of the surgeries are on Tuesdays and Thursdays between the hours of 7 AM and 6 PM. Your pet will be
scheduled for surgery as soon as there is availability within our schedule.

You will be contacted by  phone or e-mail asap with your pet's surgery date.

Check in time, for surgical procedures, is between 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM at Harmony High School, Saint Cloud,
FL on Thursdays only. Go to school's front office. They will give you directions to the Harmony Vet Clinic.
Pick up times vary, but usually 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM the same day of surgery.

The evening before your pet's surgery:
your pet should NOT eat or drink after midnight the evening prior to
surgery. Food or fluids in the stomach can present a risk during surgery. If your pet has eaten the morning of
surgery, please make sure to notify us when you check in.

DOGS: tighten collars before you leave home to prevent accidental escape. Walk your dog before you bring
them in to the building. Allow them plenty of time to relieve themselves. CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG

DO NOT ALLOW YOUR DOG TO APPROACH OTHER PETS

Aggressive dogs may be asked to wear a muzzle until sedated. Your help WILL be needed. Leave your dog in
running vehicle or have an additional person to help you. Let an attendant know your dog is aggressive
BEFORE you bring him in to the clinic. If you can not muzzle your dog we will not be able to treat him.

CATS: All cats should be in separate carriers for their own protection. Use newspapers on the bottom of the
carriers, not towels. If you do not have a carrier a large pillow case will be fine to transport your kitty. DO NOT
BRING IN OPEN ARMS.

ADDITIONAL PROCEDURES: we may advise additional treatment when we examine your pet. It will be your
option to accept or refuse these procedures.

We maintain the right to refuse treatment to any pet at any time for any reason.

You will be asked to sign a surgery consent form. You will receive a copy which includes after surgery care
instructions. PLEASE READ. PRINT OUT, SIGN and bring with you to the clinic
